are invited to join a line-up of joyful events throughout November and December, filled with laughter, music, and community spirit.
Stir It Up Sunday – 23rd November
Join the tradition of Christmas pudding making! Get stirring, make a wish, and fill the home with the heart-warming scents of festive baking.
RCH Naughty Elves Move In – 1st–24th December
The mischievous elves are back! Keep an eye out for their daily antics and surprises. There’ll be a special prize for the naughtiest elf of them all!
Christmas Lights Switch-On – 1st December, 4pm
Count down with us – 3, 2, 1, lights on! Celebrate the start of the season with carols, mince pies, mulled wine, and hot chocolate at our special lighting ceremony.
Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day – 4th December
Get those elf ears and stripy tights ready! Join the fun, dress up, and help raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society with a £2 donation.
Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day – 11th December
Whether it’s your brightest jumper or your cosiest Christmas PJs, join us in raising money for Save the Children. A secret prize awaits the best festive outfit!
Gingerbread House Decorating Day – 12th December, 2pm
Grab your icing bags and get creative! It’s time to design, decorate, and compete in our annual gingerbread house competition.
Christmas Cake Decorating – 17th December, 2pm
Who will be crowned RCH Care Homes Christmas Baking Champion 2025? Residents will show off their skills in this festive cake decorating showdown.
Games Day – 20th December
Celebrate the season with some light-hearted fun! From Snakes and Ladders to Christmas quizzes, there’s something for everyone.
Go Carolling Day – Carols by Candlelight, 20th December, 2pm
A truly special afternoon of carols, candles, and community. Join us as we sing classic Christmas favourites and enjoy mince pies and refreshments in the warm glow of festive lights.
Christmas Party – 23rd December, 2pm
The highlight of the season! Enjoy showstopping entertainment, fun games, delicious food, and festive refreshments as we celebrate together in style.
New Year’s Eve Sparkling Afternoon Tea – 31st December
Raise a glass and welcome 2026 in style. Enjoy a special afternoon tea with bubbles and live music to start your celebrations.
New Year’s Eve Cheese and Wine Evening – 31st December
Round off the year with good company, fine cheese, and sparkling drinks as we toast to a wonderful year ahead.
