Withens Nursing Home in Southfleet has proudly announced the winners of its November Southfleet Super Hero initiative, recognising the outstanding contribution
of the St Nicholas Church Gardening Team.
The dedicated volunteers were delighted to be surprised with a selection of thoughtfully put-together gift baskets, filled with gardening essentials, refreshments and a gift voucher for the team to enjoy. The visit was met with genuine surprise, smiles and heartfelt gratitude, reflecting just how much the recognition meant to the group.
The St Nicholas Church Gardening Team has been nominated in appreciation of the time, care and pride they put into maintaining the church grounds each week. Their efforts help create a welcoming and well-kept space that benefits not only the church but the wider Southfleet community.
Lee Coppitters, on behalf of the gardening team, shared: “All the members of St Nicholas Church Gardening Team and I would like to thank everyone who voted for us in the Southfleet Superhero nominations this month. We are delighted that our weekly efforts in the church grounds are so appreciated by everyone. The work not only brings us a great deal of satisfaction but it is wonderful to know how much it benefits the wider community. We are delighted with our prize which will be very useful in assisting us with our work.”
