Brentwood Care Centre has launched its annual Easter Egg Appeal in support of Haven House Children’s Hospice, calling on the local community to help spread joy to children receiving care at the hospice. The home is collecting donations of Easter eggs, soft toys, and small gifts to brighten the children’s Easter celebrations.
The campaign was launched this week with a heart-warming gesture from resident Ron, who was eager to be the first to donate. His enthusiasm set the tone for what the care home hopes will be another hugely successful appeal. Last year, the community’s generosity was overwhelming, and Brentwood Care Centre is determined to beat that total this year.
Haven House Children’s Hospice provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as their families. The hospice offers a range of services, from respite and end-of-life care to therapies and family support, ensuring children can experience comfort, love, and happiness. By supporting this appeal, the local community can make a real difference to the children and families who rely on Haven House’s services.
Brentwood Care Centre’s Customer Relations Manager, Rhiannon, shared her excitement about the appeal:

Seeing the smiles that these donations bring to the children at Haven House makes every effort worthwhile.
