Manton Heights Brings Care Olympic Programme to a Feel-Good Finish

Manton Heights Care Centre wrapped up its 2025 Care Olympic programme on a high note with a Staff Quiz Bowl held on 24 December 2025, bringing teams together to celebrate a year of teamwork, dedication and shared achievements.

Organised by the Manton Heights Care Olympic team with the support of the home’s management, the event was created especially for care staff as a thank-you for their commitment throughout the year.

Working in teams, staff took on a lively mix of care-related questions, general knowledge and light-hearted challenges. Laughter, encouragement and team spirit filled the room as colleagues shared ideas, supported one another and celebrated correct answers together. The quiz struck a perfect balance between learning and enjoyment.

The response from staff was overwhelmingly positive. Many spoke about how much they valued the opportunity to connect with colleagues in a relaxed environment, strengthening relationships and boosting morale at the close of a busy year. The event also highlighted the wide range of skills, experience and knowledge across the team, all brought together through collaboration and mutual support.

Yvonne Russon, Regional Operations Director at RCH Care Homes, said: “The Care Olympics are a brilliant example of how engagement activities can bring teams together in such a positive way. Seeing staff at Manton Heights supporting one another, enjoying themselves and celebrating their collective strengths really reflects the culture being built within the home. The Quiz Bowl was a fantastic way to finish the year.”

With the countdown already underway for the 2026 Care Olympics, which begin this January, the team at Manton Heights is looking ahead with energy and enthusiasm, ready to build on the success of this year and continue growing stronger together.
