This month, the café is delighted to welcome Terri Eakins, NAPA Activity Specialist, who will be sharing practical, person-centred ways to support meaningful and enjoyable activities for people living with dementia at home
During the session, Terri will explore:
- Simple, person-centred activity ideas
- Supporting choice, purpose and identity
- Sensory and creative approaches
- Everyday activities that build connection
- Tips for carers, friends and family
- Adapting activities as needs change
- Encouraging confidence and independence
The Dementia Café offers a warm, informal space for carers, families, friends and anyone supporting a loved one living with dementia.
It’s also an opportunity to enjoy refreshments, meet others on a similar journey and spend time in a calm, welcoming care home environment.
A friendly welcome awaits — just drop in.
