The Lifestyle Team at Manton Heights Care Centre has been nationally recognised after being named a finalist for the Inclusion Award at the National Activity
Providers Association (NAPA) National Activity Awards.
Reaching the finals is a significant achievement and highlights the team’s commitment to ensuring activities are accessible, inclusive and tailored to individual needs, particularly within a dementia care setting. The award celebrates teams who champion inclusion and create environments where everyone feels involved and valued.
Sue Lee Roberts, Director of Care and Quality, praised the team’s approach: “Being shortlisted for the Inclusion Award is a powerful recognition of the thoughtful and person-centred work taking place at Manton Heights. The Lifestyle Team consistently demonstrates how inclusive activities can support connection, dignity and wellbeing, and this finalist recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
Lifestyle Lead Sian added:“Inclusion sits at the heart of everything the Lifestyle Team does. Activities are shaped around individuals, their abilities and their interests, ensuring everyone can take part in ways that feel meaningful to them. Being recognised by NAPA is something the whole team is incredibly proud of.”
The NAPA Awards gala evening brought together activity professionals from across the country, celebrating the importance of lifestyle provision and the positive impact of engaging, inclusive activities within care environments.
