Romford Care Home is celebrating an exceptional evening of recognition following their attendance at the London Regional Great British Care Awards, where the
home proudly showcased finalists across eight categories.
The Great British Care Awards celebrate outstanding achievements within the social care sector, honouring individuals and teams whose commitment, innovation, and compassionate approach make a meaningful difference to the lives of others. For Romford Care Home, this year’s event was a moment to appreciate and celebrate team members who demonstrate excellence every day.
Finalists from the home represented a wide range of roles, demonstrating the breadth of dedication and skill within the team:

- Putting People First Award – Cydney Bale

- Dignity in Care Award – Ramzi Moubaied

The highlight of the evening came with the announcement that Ramzi Moubaied had been named Winner of the Dignity in Care Award.
The judges praised Ramzi’s approach, stating:
“Ramzi is a warm, compassionate individual who always puts clients first. He listens attentively, advocates on their behalf, and ensures they receive the best possible care, consistently prioritising their needs above all else.”
This recognition reflects Ramzi’s dedication to dignity-led, person-centred care and his positive influence within the home.
Speaking about the team’s achievements, General Manager, Maddie Ilie, said:
