Monthly Dementia Café – Music and Memory Special
Friday 20th March | From 2:00pm
This month’s Dementia Café explores the powerful connection between music and memory.
Join Woodlands Care Centre for an engaging session on “Understanding How Music Can Support People Living with Dementia”, led by guest speaker Emma Hewat — an experienced dementia specialist known for delivering engaging, music-led sessions that highlight how rhythm, song and familiar melodies can spark connection and wellbeing.
Music can unlock memories, reduce anxiety and create meaningful moments of joy.
This relaxed and welcoming afternoon offers the chance to learn more, connect with others and gain practical insight into how music can be used to support someone living with dementia.
Open to individuals, families and carers across Cambridge seeking guidance, reassurance and community.
