Maidstone Care Centre recently welcomed residents, families and team members for the launch of its brand-new Community Café, marking the start of what will
become a regular monthly event.
The first café, held on Thursday 19th March, created a warm and relaxed atmosphere where guests enjoyed homemade cakes, fresh refreshments and plenty of friendly conversation.
The event forms part of the home’s ongoing commitment to strengthening connections within the Maidstone community, offering an open and inclusive space where people can come together, share experiences and enjoy good company.
Following the success of the launch, Maidstone Care Centre is now inviting more local people to join future cafés, with plans already underway to introduce entertainment and guest speakers to upcoming events.
Belinda, Lifestyle Coordinator at the home, said: “It was lovely to see everybody come together for the first Community Café. There was such a friendly atmosphere, and it was great to welcome new faces into the home. We’re really looking forward to growing this into something the local community can enjoy and be part of each month.”
The next Community Café will take place on Thursday 16th April, and the team encourages anyone in the local area to come along and experience the welcoming environment for themselves.
