Join Manton Heights Care Centre February’s Dementia Café, Thursday 26th of February | 2pm–4pm, for a welcoming and supportive space for anyone affected by
dementia.
This month features a special guest speaker – PC Raj Mehmi from Bedfordshire Police – who will be discussing the Herbert Protocol. This important initiative encourages carers, family members and friends to compile useful information that could assist police in locating a vulnerable person quickly if they go missing.
The session will provide:
• Clear guidance on what the Herbert Protocol is
• How to complete the form
• Why it can make a significant difference in an emergency
• An opportunity to ask questions directly to Bedfordshire Police
Held on the last Thursday of every month from 2pm–4pm, the Dementia Café offers expert insight alongside peer support in a friendly, informal environment.
Whether supporting a loved one or seeking advice, this monthly gathering offers the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and access practical guidance in a relaxed setting.
